Your Ultimate Winter Travel Packing List: Free PDF Download

I recently spent five incredible days exploring Tromsø, the world’s northernmost city, nestled at 69° north in northern Norway. Despite its extreme latitude, Tromsø benefits from the Gulf Stream, which carries warmth from the Atlantic tropics, keeping temperatures milder than other regions at this latitude. That said, during our visit, the forecast still showed lows of -15°C—so it was far from tropical (despite what the locals might say)!

To fully enjoy your time in such cold conditions, packing smartly is essential. The right gear, layers, and a few extras can make all the difference, especially for a destination like Tromsø or any similar winter wonderland.

To help you prepare, I’ve created a free PDF guide: Travel Packing List - Winter Edition This checklist breaks down everything you’ll need to pack for a successful and comfortable trip in freezing temperatures. While it’s inspired by my Tromsø adventure, it’s perfect for any cold-weather destination around the world.

Download the checklist below and get ready to embrace your winter adventure the right way!

Prior to my trip I also posted a YouTube video showing everything I packed for this trip, you can watch this here or right below!

Pack with me to spend 5 days/nights in the worlds northernmost city, Tromsø! Located above the arctic circle, temperatures during my stay will range from 1°C down to -12°C, so I need to pack smart!
